Courtney Love wrote a song called "Justice for Kurt" but will not release it now.

The singer decided not to include the song on her next studio album so as "not to overshadow" her other songs.

Courtney Love revealed that she wrote a song called "Justice for Kurt," but that it will not be part of her next album. The singer talked about the song during an interview on the WTF with Marc Maron.

Hole 's vocalist revealed that she will not include the track on the album she is working on because it would "overshadow the rest of the songs on the album." The song is a reference to the conspiracy theories surrounding the death of her husband and Nirvana vocalist, Kurt Cobain. Many believe that the suicide was faked and that Love actually murdered him.

“Justice for Kurt” is also the name of fan pages on social media — Instagram , Twitter , and Facebook — that question the official account of Cobain's death.

“We wrote a secret song that we can’t put [on the album] because it’s only two minutes and 24 seconds long, but it’s a rock song,” Love said. When asked why she couldn’t record it, she replied, “It’s called ‘Justice for Kurt’ and it’s great, but we thought, ‘Okay, they’re too stupid.’ It would swallow the whole narrative. Rock doesn’t stream.”

"It's not worth it. It's 2:24, it's a caterpillar and a half. Okay, if I'm going to write a fucking song called 'Justice for Kurt,' it's going to be a fucking catchy song. But I'm not going to put that on that album to ruin my album, right? Like, I don't need Kurt ruining my shit anymore, okay? Thanks. Love you, but no."

Love later commented that "it's still [circulating] that I'm the psychopath who killed him" and also mentions that "When I go online, I have to see that. My daughter also has to see that." Still, Love seems keen to release the song, adding that it could come out eight months or more after the album. Details of the singer's new album have not yet been released.
